Nexus 5 is a new Google-branded smartphone with the latest version of Android – 4.4 KitKat and in comparison with other smartphones, it is somewhat more affordable. It has a matt plastic body that doesn’t give you any access to the battery. Above it is a round earpiece, on the left of that is the front-facing camera, and down below an LED notifier. The a microUSB port for charging and syncing and two grills - one housing a speaker, and the other a microphone are on are bottom of the phone. A 3.5mm headset jack and a small hole for a microphone are on the top. Around the edges of the device, there are ceramic volume and power buttons. A flat, almost sharp-edged volume button is on the left side and the power button is on the upper right side. On the backside of the device there is 8MP camera in an unusually large module, and an LED flash just beneath it. The performance of Nexus 5 is excellent. Applications run fast and smoothly and also switching from home screens to applications and back. The Nexus 5 features a 5-inch 1080p IPS display - that\'s 1920 x 1080, giving us 445 PPI which enables wonderfully crisp and clean colors and good viewing angles. Its camera has an 8-megapixel 1/3.2-inch sensor and an f/2.5 lens. With geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, photo sphere, HDR and dual recording enables you to take solid images and also shoots 1080p HD videos. The Nexus 5 has some great pros: excellent performance, great screen and low price. On the other hand it only has mediocre battery life, there is no micro SD card slot and also camera might tend to overexpose.
